Your role – making an impact in Palestine
In this role, you will work closely with IM’s partner organisations in Palestine in a context shaped by conflict, uncertainty and resilience. You will be expected to combine strategic thinking with sound judgement, flexibility with accountability, and solidarity with professionalism.
You will:
✔ Manage IM’s partnerships with different types of civil society partners in Palestine, in line with IM’s partnership approach, strategic goals and processes, and qualitative requirements
✔ Accompany partners in areas such as networking, organisational development and ecosystem building
✔ Design, plan and contribute to interventions aimed at sustainable societal change
✔ Take active part in internal IM processes and global working groups
✔ Contribute to fundraising and project funding processes, including proposals and donor dialogue
✔ Maintain a growth mindset and actively contribute to solving emerging challenges in innovative and responsible ways
Experience and qualifications:
✔You are someone who takes responsibility, acts with integrity and is comfortable navigating complexity.
✔ Academic education, bachelor’s or master’s degree, in international development, social science, human rights, gender studies, business administration or similar – or equivalent experience acquired through work.
✔ Progressive experience, minimum 5 years, in program management, development cooperation, and a solid understanding of working with and supporting civil society organizations as agents of change.
✔ Proven experience and expertise in project cycle management, e.g. planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and experience in various results-based management methodologies, e.g. outcome harvesting.
✔ Practical experience working with donor requirements, budgets and financial follow-up in collaboration with finance colleagues
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication in both Arabic and English.
✔ Ability to travel to field locations as required.
✔Driving License is a plus.

Type of contract: Two-year contract with three months probationary period
Start date: As soon as possible, depending on mutual agreement
Location: Palestine, you will be working from a home-based office
