Consultancy: Program manager June-September

We are now inviting tenders for Program manager services from June 2025 to 30 September 2025, to strengthen our small team in Malawi.
You will make an impact by:
✔️ Managing IM's partnerships with different types of partners in Zimbabwe and Malawi in accordance with IM’s approach to partnership, strategic processes and qualitative requirements.
✔️ Supporting our partners in issues like networking and capacity bridging
✔️Taking active part in various internal processes such as global working groups
✔️Taking active part in fundraising efforts
✔️Maintaining a growth mindset in order to contribute to solving upcoming challenges in an innovative way
Does this sound like you?
🔹 Academic education within the area of human rights, gender studies, political science or similar, or equivalent skills acquired through work experience.
🔹 Extensive experience in development cooperation and an understanding of civil society organisations as agents of change, their dynamics, opportunities and challenges.
🔹 Experience from IM's areas of work: social and economic justice and sustainable livelihood
🔹 Intermediate experience in outcome and result assessment
🔹 Language skills: Professional proficiency in English and Chichewa

🔹 The assignment ends on 30 September 2025 and is equivalent to 40 hours per week.
🔹 The recruitment team consist of Program manager Hilda Mdeza and Financial controller Graham Luka.
🔹 The assignment is located in Malawi and we don't arrange relocation/ex-patriation. Since IM doesn't have an office space you are working from home, using your own computer and phone.
